To ignite a global movement of spiritual vitality
Lorica Ministries has officially launched as a new not-for-profit organization whose mission is “to ignite a global movement of spiritual vitality.” Under the leadership of Doug Rumford, President and CEO, and our founding board , Lorica Ministries aims to provide practical resources and materials that make spiritual formation accessible, satisfying, and sustainable. This will be accomplished by creating “relational networks” locally, regionally, and throughout the world.
Lorica Ministries plans to achieve its Mission by equipping leaders who eagerly train others for spiritual vitality (2 Timothy 2:2). Lorica Ministries provides a constructive framework of tools to equip people for spiritual vitality and equipping them to “feed themselves.” Lorica’s delivery model focuses on training through coaching, consulting and cohorts. The Lorica is the name given to St. Patrick’s prayer. It means “Breastplate” and brings to mind Ephesians 6 on the armor of God and Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart for from it flow the springs of life.” |
We are thoroughly enjoying and applying what we learn from your book! It is so loaded that it took me a couple of days to prepare an effective study guide for each chapter. There is so much I want us to reflect on and journal about. This book is a treasure! Glenda M. |
